WHAT IS THE SLEDGE HOCKEY EXPERIENCE?
The Sledge Hockey Experience is a half day corporate team building program designed to give participants a new perspective on life and people with disabilities.
We all are individuals who have talents to discover. By coming together on a level playing field, we begin to understand, raise our level of awareness, and contribute to stronger work environments increasing team cohesion,
engagement, and productivity.
PROGRAM OUTCOMES
CELEBRATE DIVERSITY
Step outside of your comfort zone and help uncover unconscious biases through Paralympic sport.
INCREASE TEAM COHESION
Create an inclusive culture by bringing people of all backgrounds and ability levels together.
REINFORCE CORE VALUES
Create engaging conversation about the benefits and opportunities working with people with disabilities
CHANGE PERSPECTIVES
Learn how to break through limiting beliefs and develop courage in the face of adversity.
The way you prepared us, I was not scared or uncomfortable… and the other nice thing is that nobody has played this before. Everyone was on a level playing
field.
“It’s the best team event I’ve seen
in almost 30 years!”
– DOUG CROWE, VP, RBC
